The month of June is a milestone in savoir-fête history. During that month in 1967, the celebratory champagne spray was born at the 24-hour Le Mans race in France.

For the first time, Moët & Chandon presents Moët Party Day, a unique global party that is happening simultaneously all over the world, starting in Christchurch, New Zealand. Moët Party Day has been tailor-made to celebrate living in the now and to encourage sharing memorable moments with those around you.

From the UK to France, Hong Kong to Japan, Moët & Chandon will be hosting an evening of entertainment at Moët Party Day, offering stylish ways to savour champagne in collaboration with some the most stylish restaurants, bars and lounges around the globe, including Baretta Bar in the heart of Christchurch.

“Moët Party Day springs from Moët & Chandon’s legendary spirit of entertainment, it’s what we call” savoir-fête, where we turn experiences into true Moët moments” says Ali Campbell, Moët & Chandon Senior Brand Manager. “This global event is a chance for us to share a single day, live in the now and celebrate memorable moments together in a stylish way.”

New Zealand will be the first country in the world to start off the celebrations for Moët Party Day with Baretta Bar in Christchurch confirmed to host the event. Party goers will get to enjoy an evening of Champagne, music and glamour. The event will officially kick off midnight 12:00 a.m Saturday 11th June but guests are invited to enjoy the night from 9 p.m onward on Friday 10th June. Admission is free and open to those over the age of 18.
