The Christchurch Food Show will be here from the 8th – 10th April, at Horncastle Arena, showcasing some of New Zealand’s top culinary talent. With over 100 exhibitors on show there is something to cater for everyone’s taste, from award winning cheeses to sustainably-grown mussels.
The most exciting part for you, the foodies out there is ‘The Whirlpool Cooking Theatre’ . This is an opportunity to watch Kiwi celebrity chefs re-create their most sought-after recipes. The star studded line up includes;Ray McVinnie, Robert Oliver, Sachie Nomura, Annabelle White as well as Michelin-starred chef and ex-Masterchef judge, Josh Emett who will be demonstrating his best selling dishes.
The Christchurch Food Show has also introduced two brand new areas – The Artisan Village and The Street Food Alley.
The Artisan Village is an area dedicated to all things handmade, if this sounds like you, visit the Lovat Venison, Chorizo Garcia and Be Nourished stands and try some of their perfectly crafted delights.
The new Street Food Alley is where you can satisfy your hunger with scrumptious creations by Christchurch locals including Dragon’s Den, Phnom Penh and Rollicking Gelato.
